Ronald R. Norton is a family court judge for the Fifteenth Judicial Circuit in South Carolina.[1] Norton was elected to the court by the South Carolina General Assembly in 2008.[2] He was re-elected in 2014 and February 5, 2020.[3] His term ends on June 30, 2026.[3]Cite error: Invalid <ref> tag; invalid names, e.g. too many

Education

Norton received his B.A. from the University of South Carolina in 1974 and his J.D. from the University of South Carolina School of Law in 1977.[2]

Career

After law school, Norton practiced law in Beaufort County for eight years and in Horry County from 1985 to 2008. He has also served on the Board of the Horry County Public Defender Corporation, the Fifteenth Circuit Fee Dispute Board, and worked as a part-time prosecutor for the City of Myrtle Beach.[2]
