A Salem City Income Tax Increase measure was on the November 2, 2010 ballot in the city of Salem, which is in Columbiana County.

This measure was defeated

  • YES 1,232 (30.75%)
  • NO 2,775 (69.25%)Defeatedd[1]

This measure asked voters if they wanted to increase local income taxes by one percent. The money generated from this increased tax would have gone towards the city's general fund and be used to buy equipment for capital improvements in the city.[2]
