Smith ran for election to the Warrick County Circuit Court.
General: She was defeated in the general election on November 4, 2014, after receiving 40.4 percent of the vote. She competed against Greg A. Granger. [1] 

Education

Smith graduated from Indiana Wesleyan University with a degree in business administration. She earned her J.D. with a concentration in employment law from the Valparaiso University School of Law.[2]

Career

During law school, Smith served as a clerk for Lake County Superior Court. In 2005, Smith opened her law practice in Boonville. She has worked as a deputy prosecutor in Warrick County and serves as a public defender in Warrick and Vanderburgh counties.[2]
