I'm a lifelong Michigan resident, I was born in Dearborn and grew up in Westland. I live and work in Ann Arbor, but I've also lived in Ypsilanti Township and Pittsfield Township. I graduated from the University of Michigan-Dearborn where I studied Political Science, Psychology, and Anthropology. I'm a data analyst by trade but I've always been interested in representing the people of Michigan in the State Legislature and would be honored to do so.
  • I'm focused on serving the people of the district and connecting our community with the rest of Michigan.
  • I believe we need to work towards ensuring local campaigns stay local and that voters have a choice of whom they want in office representing them.
  • I believe Michigan needs to increase its investment in the people of Michigan through education and infrastructure spending.

We certainly need to improve the ethics and transparency of government as a whole. We must open records to the public, require lawmakers to disclose their personal finances, rid the state of dark money, and prohibit out of state donations to state senators and legislators.
I'm passionate about policy that addresses the future of the residents of Michigan. Through community support, social justice, infrastructure investment, educational achievement, and work opportunities we can create a brighter future for all the residents Michigan.
I would like to leave a legacy as someone who made government more accessible to everyone. Good governance is the key to an open and free democracy, and I believe if more people are involved, we can affect positive and lasting change.
My first job was as a computer technician when I was in high school, I worked there for a couple years and I'm still thankful for the opportunity I was given.

I don't believe that previous experience is necessary for state legislators, there are sufficient resources for anyone to learn how the legislator operates.
Yes, it is essential that relationships are built between legislators in order to create meaningful legislation that positively benefits all of the residents of Michigan.
