Petit ran for election to the Jefferson Parish Juvenile Court. Primary: He was defeated in the primary on October 19, 2013, receiving 17.5 percent of the vote.[2][3]
Career
Petit is a private practice attorney. A former police officer, he also previously worked as a teacher at a boy's home and as a coach at Mike Miley Playground in Metairie, Louisiana.[4]
