Stephen R. Tatum
Stephen R. Tatum was a judge for the Tenth Judicial District in Kansas. He was appointed in 1994 and was retained on November 6, 2012.[1] He retired in 2013.[2]
Education
Tatum earned his undergraduate degree from Missouri State University and his J.D. from Washburn University School of Law.[3]
Career
Tatum was appointed to the Tenth Judicial District in 1994. Before his appointment, he worked as a prosecutor in Sedgwick and Johnson Counties from 1974 to 1989, and as a senior litigation attorney at Sprint from 1989 to 1994.[3]
2012 election
Tatum stood for retention to the district court on November 6, 2012.[4] He was successful, earning 71.4% of the vote with 149,213 "yes" votes.[1]
