Steven J. Cox
Steven J. Cox is a judge for the circuit court of Franklin County in Indiana. He was elected by popular vote in November 1994 and re-elected in 2000, 2006, and 2012. His current term expired on December 31, 2018.[1]
Education
Cox graduated from Indiana University in 1987, and received his Doctor of Jurisprudence from Valparaiso University in 1990.[1]
Career
Judge Cox was engaged in private practice, served as Franklin County Public Defender, Municipal Attorney, and Fayette County Deputy Prosecutor.[1]
2012 election
Cox ran against Democrat Tammy Davis for re-election to the court in 2012, and was successful in his bid.[2]
