Bell ran for election to the 42nd Judicial Circuit Court.
Primary: She was successful in the Republican primary on August 5, 2014, receiving 37.1 percent of the vote. She competed against David S. Smith and Kristopher D. Crews.
General: She was defeated in the general election on November 4, 2014, after receiving 49.8 percent of the vote. She competed against Scott Bernstein. [1][2] 

Education

Bell received her undergraduate degree from the University of Missouri and her J.D. degree from St. Louis University.[3]

Career

Bell works as an attorney in private practice and serves as an assistant prosecuting attorney for Dent County.[4]
