Tewksbury Property Tax Increase (March 2010)

There was a Tewksbury Property Tax Increase measure on the March 6 ballot in Middlesex County for voters in the town of Tewksbury.

This measure was approved

  • YES 6,186 Approveda
  • NO 1,191[1]

This measure sought to build a new high school for the town, a $82 million project which will get 60.06 percent of that money from the state building project. Taxes for local residents are expected to be raised $21 to pay for the rest of the financing of the new building.[2]
