Thomas D. Nolan is a justice for the Saratoga County Supreme Court in the 4th Judicial District of New York. He was elected to this position in 2000 and re-elected in 2013.[1][2]

Nolan was re-elected to the Supreme Court in 2013.[3]

2013 election

Nolan ran for re-election to the Supreme Court 4th Judicial District. General: He was elected in the general election on November 5, 2013, with 39.4 percent of the vote. Stan L. Pritzker and Mark L. Powers were also on the ballot, competing for two open seats.[3][4][5]

IJEQC rating

Nolan was rated "Highly Qualified" by New York's Independent Judicial Election Qualification Commissions (IJEQC).[6]

Education

Nolan received his A.B. degree from Hamilton College and his J.D. degree from Albany Law School.[1]

Career

Prior to his judicial career, Nolan worked as a confidential law assistant to Justice Stephen A. Ferradino and as a private practice lawyer. In 1995, he was elected judge of the Saratoga County Family Court and acting justice of the Saratoga County Supreme Court. He was elected a full-time justice of the Supreme Court in 2000.[1][2]
