Thomas Lyons was a candidate for at-large representative on the Holmen Board of Education in Wisconsin. Lyons ran for the seat in the primary election on February 16, 2016.[1] He received the fourth-most votes in the primary, which allowed him to advance to the general election on April 5, 2015.[2] He lost the general election.[3]

Two of the seven seats on the Board of Education were up for at-large general election on April 5, 2016. A primary election was held on February 16, 2016.[4] Incumbent Liza Collins faced four challengers—Richard Heiden, Lisa Kosin, Thomas Lyons, and Rebecca Rieber—in the primary election. Collins, Heiden, Lyons, and Rieber received the most votes, which allowed them to advance to general election on April 5, 2016.[1][2] Collins and Rieber won the general election.[3]
