Thomas M. Horan
Thomas M. Horan was a judge of the Sixth District of Iowa. He was appointed to this court in 1979. He retired and assumed senior status on October 4, 2006. He died on September 7, 2013 after a short illness.[1][2]
Biography and Education
Horan was born in Fayette County, Iowa. After serving during the Korean War in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1953 to 1955, he attended the University of Iowa, where he received his bachelor's and law degrees in 1960 and 1963, respectively. He was married and had four children.[1][2]
