Tim D. Tucker was a judge for the Third Judicial Circuit in South Dakota. He first joined the court in 1987.[1] He was re-elected for the final time in 2014.[2] Tucker retired on June 8, 2015.[3]

Tucker was appointed as presiding judge in August of 2012, and again in August of 2013, by Chief Justice David Gilbertson.[4][5][6]

Education

Tucker received his J.D. from the University of South Dakota School of Law in 1982.[5]

Career

Tucker began serving as judge for the Third Judicial Circuit in 1987. He was previously an attorney with the law firm Morgan, Fuller, Theeler and Cogley of Mitchell.[5][6]
