Timothy D. Bates is a judge of the New London District Superior Court in Connecticut. He was nominated on March 14, 2014 by Governor Dannel P. Malloy.[1] He was confirmed by the Connecticut General Assembly and his term will expire in 2022.[2][3][4]
Education
Bates earned an undergraduate degree from Yale University and a J.D. from Columbia Law School.[1]
Career
Bates was a partner with the law firm of Robinson and Cole, LLP prior to his nomination to the superior court in 2014. He previously worked with several law firms in New London County.[1]
