A Town of San Anselmo sales tax, Measure D ballot question was on the November 5, 2013, election ballot for voters in Town of San Anselmo Marin County, which is in California. It was approved.
This measure increased the sales tax in the city by 0.5% for 10 years.[1]
Officials said the measure was required primarily for road maintenance and repair.[2]

Ballot question
The question on the ballot:
To repair potholes, repave roads, reduce traffic congestion, maintain and improve
sidewalks/drainage/street medians, preserve public safety, and improve other general Town services, facilities, and infrastructure, shall the Town of San Anselmo establish a one-half percent (.5%) sales tax for ten years, with annual independent audits, mandatory public expenditure reports, and an independent citizens’ oversight committee with all funds staying in San Anselmo under local control?[1][3] |
