Veronica B. Mathein
Veronica B. Mathein was a judge on the Cook County 12th Subcircuit in Illinois.[1] She was first elected to the bench in 1996 and retired on November 2, 2016.[2][3]
Education
Mathein earned a B.A. from the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana, going on to receive her J.D. from DePaul University College of Law.[2]
Career
Prior to her judicial election in 1996, Mathein was managing partner of the Law Office of Mathein & Rostoker, P.C. in Chicago. She specialized in matrimonial and family law.[2]

Mathein was retained to the Cook County 12th Subcircuit with 76.6 percent of the vote on November 4, 2014. [4]
Evaluations
The Illinois State Bar Association rated Veronica B. Mathein as Recommended for retention in 2014.[5]
