Wesley L. Brown
Wesley L. Brown was a family court judge for the Seventh Judicial Circuit in South Carolina. Brown was first elected to the court in June 1998 and retired on June 30, 2010.[1][2]
Education
Brown received his B.S. in electrical engineering from Clemson University and his J.D. from the University of South Carolina School of Law.[1]
Career
After graduating from law school, Brown worked as a patent examiner for the United States Patent Office in Washington D.C. He then worked as a patent attorney for Owens Corning Fiberglas Corporation. Later, from 1969 to 1971, Brown practiced law in Gaffney, South Carolina, and from 1971 until his election to the court in 1998, he was a partner at the firm of Saint-Amand, Thompson & Brown.[1]
