William Cinfici was a candidate for an at-large seat on the Reading Board of Directors in Pennsylvania. The seat was up for general election on November 3, 2015. There was a primary election on May 19, 2015. He filed to run in both the Democratic and Republican primaries. Cinfici won the nomination in the Republican primary and advanced to the general election.[1][2] William Cinfici lost the general election on November 3, 2015.

Cinfici is a local registrar for the Pennsylvania Division of Vital Records. He served on the Reading Board of Directors from 2005 to 2009. He was also appointed to an empty seat in 2013. He is currently on the Reading Planning Commission.[3][4]

Six of the nine seats on the Reading Board of Directors were up for general election on November 3, 2015. There was a primary election on May 19, 2015.

Incumbents Bernardo Carbajal and Abraham J. Cepeda won re-election to their seats. Challengers Julio Martinez, Brian Buerke and Jean Kelleher also joined the board for four-year terms. They defeated Lydia Colon, Elijah Rhodes and William Cinfici. David McCoy won a two-year term without opposition after defeating Virna Quinones in the primary election. No independent candidates filed to run in the general election.[5][1][2]
