The seats of Place 1 incumbent Paul Dorsett and Place 2 incumbent Carol Barrett were up for election.[1] Dorsett did not file for re-election, and two candidates sought his seat. They were Phillip Garrett and Mike Nugent. Barrett was running unopposed and won re-election, and Nugent won the Place 1 seat.[2]
