W. David Lee was the senior resident superior court judge for the 20B Judicial District of the Sixth Division of the Superior Court, serving Union County in North Carolina. He was elected to the bench in November of 2010 to a term that expired in 2018.[1]
The North Carolina Superior Courts are split into five divisions and 48 districts. Superior court judges rotate among the districts within their division every six months.[2] However, superior court judges are elected by voters in their district and must reside in the district in which they are elected.[3]
Education
Lee received his undergraduate degree from Western Carolina University and his J.D. from Wake Forest University.[4]
2010 election
Lee was re-elected after running unopposed.[5][6]
