The Kansas Census, Amendment 4, also known as Amendment 4, was on the ballot in Kansas on August 1, 1972, as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment. It was approved. The amendment proposed to repeal Article 2, Section 26 of the constitution. The amendment proposed would repeal the section which relates to taking an enumeration of the inhabitants of the state.[1]
