Juan Hernandez is a Democratic at-large representative on the Hartford Public Schools Board of Education in Connecticut. Hernandez won a first term in the at-large general election on November 7, 2017.

Hernandez was appointed to the board in 2017 after Beth Parker resigned in September 2016.[1][2]

Four of nine seats on the Hartford Public Schools Board of Education in Connecticut were up for at-large election on November 7, 2017. Incumbent Craig Stallings (D) won, along with appointed board member Juan Hernandez (D) and newcomers Ayesha Clarke (D) and Shontá Browdy (Working Families Party). Theodore "Ted" Cannon (R) lost.[3][4]
