Michael L. Rankin is a federal judge on senior status with the Superior Court of the District of Columbia. He was appointed to the court by President Ronald Reagan in 1986.[1]
Education
Rankin received his undergraduate degree from Lincoln University in 1967 and his J.D. from Howard University School of Law in 1970.[1]
Military service
After earning his law degree, Rankin joined the U.S. Army, serving in the JAG Corps in Vietnam.[1]
