Campaign themes
2017
Malone's campaign website included the following themes for 2017:
“ |
With the news of Judge Molly E. GaleWyrick’s retirement, I took some time to speak with my family, friends and co-workers about the possibility of serving Polk County in a new capacity. With their support, and with a deep commitment to public service, I have decided to take this next step. I will be fair and impartial and will never legislate from the bench. The role of a circuit court judge is not to impose their personal beliefs on litigants, but rather to apply the facts to the law. The bench is not a place for partisanship or personal bias. As a judge I will act with integrity, intelligence and compassion. Using my Master’s Degree in Public Administration, I will be able to take up the programs where Judge GaleWyrick has left off, while expanding them to their maximum potential. I will work well with Branch 2, ensuring that we make our justice system efficient and accessible for the people of Polk County.[1][2] |
