Paul R. Lovier Sr. was the judge for the Franklin County Court in Texas. He first joined the court in 2011, after he was elected to replace Judge Gerry Hubbell. Lovier retired in 2014.[1][2]
Military service
Lovier was in the ROTC in high school. After graduation, he joined the U.S. Navy and was active duty from 1953 to 1957.[2]
Career
- 2011-2014: Judge, Franklin County Court
- 1985-2010: Justice of the Peace
When Lovier switched parties from Democratic to Republican in 1998, he became the first Republican to hold office in Franklin County.[2]
