Thomas M. VanStrydonck was a judge for the 7th Judicial District of New York. He served as a justice of the 7th Judicial District since his appointment in 1998. He was elected later that year to a term ending in 2013. He was the District Administrative Judge of the court from 2000 to 2011.[1][2]

Education

VanStrydonck received his B.S. from the University of Windsor (Ontario, Canada) in 1962 and his J.D. from the State University at Buffalo School of Law in 1973.[2]

Career

VanStrydonck began his career in 1974 as a trial lawyer for the Monroe County District Attorney. He worked in this position until 1982. He also worked as a partner of the law firm Trevett, Lenweaver & VanStrydonck from 1979 to 1998. He was then appointed to the supreme court. In 2000, he was appointed administrative judge of the 7th Judicial District.[2]
