Ronda L. Cortesini was an associate circuit court judge for the 25th Judicial Circuit Court in Missouri. Cortesini was appointed to the bench by Governor Jay Nixon in March 2013.[1][2] Cortesini was defeated in the 2014 election and stepped down at the end of her term in December 2014.[3]

Cortesini ran for re-election to the 25th Judicial Circuit Court.
Primary: She ran unopposed in the Democratic primary on August 5, 2014.
General: She was defeated in the general election on November 4, 2014, after receiving 39.4 percent of the vote. She competed against Michael V. Headrick. [3][4]

Cortesini received her J.D. from the South Texas College of Law.[2]

Military service

Cortesini is a veteran of the U.S. Army and served as an assistant staff judge advocate for the Texas Army National Guard.[2]
