Kathleen G. Kennedy

Kathleen G. Kennedy is a former judge on the Cook County 11th Subcircuit in Illinois.[1] She was first elected to the bench in 1996.[2] Kennedy retired on November 30, 2016.[3]

Education

Kennedy earned a B.A. from DePaul University, going on to receive her J.D. from Northwestern University School of Law.[2]

Career

Prior to her judicial election in 1996, Kennedy worked as a juvenile hearing officer. She also has experience as an attorney with the Office of the Cook County Public Guardian and as a law clerk for U.S. District Court Judge Joan Humphrey.[2]

Elections

2014

Kennedy was retained to the Cook County 11th Subcircuit with 78.9 percent of the vote on November 4, 2014. [4] 

Evaluations

The Illinois State Bar Association rated Kathleen G. Kennedy as Recommended for retention in 2014.[5]
