The Iowa Gubernatorial Vacancies Amendment, also known as Amendment 2, was on the ballot in Iowa on November 4, 1952, as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment. It was approved. The measure provided for the order of succession in the case of a vacancy in the governor's office.[1][2]
