On November 7, 2006, Kohl won re-election to the U.S. Senate, defeating Robert Gerald Lorge (R), Ben J. Glatzel (I), and Rae Vogeler (Green).[2]
2000
On November 7, 2000, Kohl won re-election to the U.S. Senate, defeating John Gillespie, Eugene Hem, Tim Peterson and Robert Raymond.[3]
Class III
Senators in Class III were elected to office in the November 2016 general election, unless they took their seat through appointment or special election.[4] Class III terms run from the beginning of the 115th Congress on January 3, 2017, to the end of the 117th Congress on January 3, 2023.[4]
2010
On November 2, 2010, Ron Johnson won election to the U.S. Senate. He defeated incumbent Russ Feingold (D), Rob Taylor (Constitution Party of Wisconsin), Ernest J. Pagels, Jr. (Write-in Republican) and Michael D. LaForest (Write-in Independent) in the general election.[5]
2004
On November 2, 2004, Feingold won re-election to the U.S. Senate, defeating Tim Michels, Eugene Hem and Arif Khan in the general election.[6]
