A Washington County Business Tax Exemption measure was on the November 2, 2010 ballot in Washington County.

This measure was approved

  • YES 4,606 (60.20%)Approveda
  • NO 3,045 (39.79%)[1]

This measure sought to allow new or expanding businesses in the county to have exemption from paying local property taxes. The goal of this measure was to encourage new businesses to grow in the county and allow for new jobs to be formed.[2]
