North Carolina Solicitorial Districts Amendment (1942)

The North Carolina Solicitorial Districts Amendment, also known as Amendment 2, was on the ballot in North Carolina on November 3, 1942, as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment. It was approved. The measure divided the state into 21 solicitorial districts and provided for the election of a solicitor for each district who would prosecute criminal matters on the state's behalf.[1]
