James E. Massey was a federal bankruptcy judge for the Northern District of Georgia. He joined the court on November 3, 1993, and he retired from the court on April 30, 2014.[1][2]

Education

Judge Massey received his undergraduate degree from Emory University in 1965 and his LL.B. from Columbia Law School in 1968.[3]

Military service

Massey served in the New York National Guard from 1969 to 1974.[1]

Career

Massey practiced law privately from 1969 to 1993, in both New York and Atlanta.[1]
