John A. Rossmeissl
John A. Rossmeissl was a bankruptcy court judge for the Eastern District of Washington. Judge Rossmeissl was appointed in December 1987 and reappointed on December 28, 2001. He was elevated to chief judge on October 1, 2004, and served in that role until retiring on October 18, 2005.[1][2][3][4][5]
Education
Rossmeissl earned a bachelor's degree from Washington State University and a J.D. from the University of Chicago.[5]
Career
Before joining the court, Rossmeissl worked in Yakima, Washington at a private practice firm where he focused on debtor/creditor law.[5]
