Rosemary Gambardella is a bankruptcy judge for the United States bankruptcy court, District of New Jersey. She was sworn in on May 3, 1985, and retired on April 2, 2025.[1]

Gambardella served as chief judge of the court from August 12, 1998, to August 11, 2005.[1]

Education

Gambardella received her undergraduate degree and J.D. from Rutgers University, in 1976 and 1979, respectively.[1][2]

  • 1980-1985: Senior staff counsel to Hugh M. Leonard, U.S. Trustee for Districts of New Jersey and Delaware
  • 1979-1980: Law clerk, Chief Judge Vincent J. Commisa[1]
