Thomas M. Fitzpatrick is a judge for the New York City Housing Court of Kings County, New York. He has served in this position since September of 1999. He was reappointed in 2004, 2009 and 2014.[1][2]

Education

Fitzpatrick received his B.A. and J.D. degrees from George Washington University in 1986 and 1989, respectively.[1]

Career

In 1990, Fitzpatrick became a court attorney for the New York City Civil Court. He served in that position until becoming a judge of the court in 1999. He also worked for the Census Project in 1989 and, the following year, worked as a project assistant for the New York City Mayor and as deputy general counsel to the New York City Clerk. In 1996 and 1997, he worked with the American Bar Association Central & East European Initiative as a rule of law liaison in Rostov-on-Don, Russia. He was appointed to the New York City Civil Court in 1999.[1][2]
