Nancy Chaires Espinoza was a member of the Elk Grove Unified Board of Education in California, representing Trustee Area 6. She assumed office in 2015. She left office on December 6, 2024.

Espinoza won re-election to the Elk Grove Unified Board of Education to represent Trustee Area 6 in California outright after the general election on November 3, 2020, was canceled.

General election

The general election was canceled. Nancy Chaires Espinoza (Nonpartisan) won without appearing on the ballot.

2016

Four of the seven seats on the Elk Grove Unified School District Board of Education were up for by-district general election on November 8, 2016. In his bid for re-election, Area 1 incumbent Tony Perez ran unopposed and won re-election by default. In Area 3, incumbent Chet Madison Sr. defeated Chris Baker. Area 6 incumbent Nancy Chaires Espinoza also won re-election, defeating challenger Marlon Hill. In the Area 7 race, Nikita Kostyuk was defeated by incumbent Carmine Forcina.[1][2]

Espinoza reported $53,774.00 in contributions and $50,782.17 in expenditures to the Sacramento County Voter Registration and Elections, which left her campaign with $2,991.83 on hand in the election.[3]
