Who are you? Tell us about yourself.

My name is Anthony Thomas Jr, I decided to run for US Congress because I am determined to create and fight for a system that works for all not just the rich and powerful. Today most politicians work for major corporations, taking bribes and donations. Our campaign is 100% grassroots and people funded. I work directly for the people of NV-01 not the corporations of NV-01.

Please list below 3 key messages of your campaign. What are the main points you want voters to remember about your goals for your time in office?

• Medicare For All is a human right! I believe in Medicare For All and I will fight with Senator Sanders to pass this bill into law.
• Tuition Free College is something I strongly believe in. Everyone should be able to get an education regardless of your tax bracket.
• A Nevada State Corporate Tax 12% to fully fund CCSD Education. Guaranteeing teacher salaries and increases to classroom spending.

What areas of public policy are you personally passionate about?

Criminal Justice Reform - Ending prisons for profit in Las Vegas Nevada. Abolishing ICE in Nevada and Protecting Dreamers and immigrants.

Healthcare - Vote yes to pass Medicare For All. Healthcare is a human right everyone should have access to free quality healthcare no matter the tax bracket.

Environment - Vote yes to pass A Green New Deal. Solve Nevada's 2020 water crisis investing in h20 generation plants.

Education - Vote yes to pass Tuition Free College. Increase CCSD funding by taxing Las Vegas corporations 12%. Creating over $2.5B in annual tax revenue for education.

Economic - Nevada State corporate tax 12% to fund CCSD. Fighting to end the Las Vegas Marijuana rainy day fund and put directly into CCSD

Who do you look up to? Whose example would you like to follow, and why?

I look up to Mahatma Gandhi, I admire how came from humble beginnings and was a champion and leader for his people who lived in severe poverty.

What is the first historical event that happened in your lifetime that you remember? How old were you at the time?

I was in 6th grade Barrack Obama became the first black President.

What was your very first job? How long did you have it?

McDonald's on Pearl St. Bridgeton NJ 08302. I worked at McDonald's for 1 year.

What was the last song that got stuck in your head?

Middle Child J.Cole

Do you believe that it's beneficial for representatives to have previous experience in government or politics?

I believe its very beneficial for a representative to have lived in the shoes of the people they represent. Out of touch politicians are dangerous to communities.

What do you perceive to be the United States' greatest challenges as a nation over the next decade?

Transforming our economy into an economy that works for all! A Green New Deal starting the fight to combat climate change.
