The Idaho Right to Employment Act, also known as Initiative 1, was on the November 4, 1958 ballot, in Idaho as an initiated state statute, where it was defeated. The measure would have kept the right to employment from being denied due to membership or non-membership in a labor organization, as well as kept membership or non-membership with a labor organization from being a condition of employment.[1][2]
