The Maine Property Tax Classification Referendum, also known as Question No. 1, was on the September 8, 1913 ballot in Maine as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment, where it was approved. The measure provided for the classification of property for taxation purposes. This amended Section 8 of Article IX of the Maine Constitution.
