George F. Moore
George F. Moore was the Chief Justice of the Texas Supreme Court from November 1878 to November 1881 and from August 1866 to September 1867. He was removed from the bench by the US military in 1867 as a result of the Civil War. Moore also served as an associate justice of the Court from April 1876 to October 1878 and from October 1862 to June 1866.[1]
