The Alabama Junior College Funding, Amendment 9, also known as Amendment 9, was on the ballot in Alabama on December 9, 1969, as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment. It was defeated. The amendment proposed to amend the constitution. The amendment proposed that a tax be levied and collected of no more than five mills in counties in which there is a junior college to support such institutions. The above must be first approved by a majority of electors.[1]
