Ballotpedia Launches Partnership with IFTTT

Readers can subscribe to breaking news and fact checks from the Encyclopedia of American Politics


Middleton, Wis. - August 16, 2017: Today, Ballotpedia launched a partnership with IFTTT, also known as if this, then that, allowing readers new ways of getting updates from Ballotpedia. Readers looking to stay on top of election and political news from a neutral source can now choose how they get those updates from Ballotpedia. Through IFTTT, readers can get breaking news updates from Ballotpedia sent to their phone or inbox. Readers can also get notifications each time Ballotpedia publishes a new fact check. Check out the first list of actions you can take through the Applets listed below.

  • Post Ballotpedia's breaking news updates to a slack channel
  • Receive Ballotpedia's breaking news updates via a text
  • Post breaking Ballotpedia news to your Facebook
  • Tweet the latest breaking news from Ballotpedia
  • Get a text when Ballotpedia publishes a new fact check
  • Receive the latest Ballotpedia fact checks in your inbox

To activate any of these Applets, create an IFTTT account through their website, or by downloading the app to your smart phone. Then visit this page to set up notifications.

Ballotpedia will continue adding new Applets to IFTTT. You can also email us to request an Applet you would like to see.
