Bluffdale and Herriman justice court nominees announced

Salt Lake County, Utah: The nominees to replace Judge Reed Parkin on the Utah justice courts of Bluffdale and Herriman have been chosen by the Salt Lake County Nominating Committee. The following names will be submitted on August 16th to Bluffdale City Mayor Derk Timothy and Herriman City Mayor John Mill, who will make the appointments.
Candidates for the Bluffdale Justice Court:
- Judge John M. Dow' of the Tooele County Justice Court
- Judge Darwin R. Poulsen of the Highland/Alpine Justice Court
- J. Mark Smedley of the Heber City Corporation
Candidates for the Herriman Justice Court:
- J. Lynn Crane, former Herriman City Mayor
- Paul C. Farr of the law firm of Herriman, Morgan, Minnock, Rice & James
- J. Mark Smedley of the Heber City Corporation
- Carrie T. Taylor of the law firm of Richards, Brandt, Miller and Nelson[1]
