Ferriday Sales Tax Renewal Measure (March 2010)
There was a Ferriday Sales Tax Renewal Measure on the March 27 ballot in Concordia Parish for voters in the town of Ferriday.
This measure was approved[1]
This measure sought to renew a sales tax of .75 percent that was in place but expires later in the year. The money generated from this tax will go towards the town's general fund. City officials noted that without the renewal the town would have been unable to continue its services.[2]
