A Newport School District Levy Replacement measure was on the February 8, 2011 ballot in the Newport school district area which is in both Pend Oreille and Spokane Counties.

This measure was approved

  • YES 1,536 (59.98%)Approveda
  • NO 1,025 (40.02%)[1]

This measure sought to replace a current levy which is set to expire with one set at a rate of $1.82 for a period of three years in order to help pay for educational programs and operational costs in the district.[2]
