A Rubicon School District Tax Levy Revenue question was defeated on the April 2, 2013 election ballot in Dodge County, which is in Wisconsin.
If approved, this measure would have authorized the Rubicon Joint School District to increase its property tax levy revenue to exceed the state given limits by $375,000 in 2013-2014 and $450,000 per year for three years after that in order to fund the educational and facility expenses of the district.[1]

Text of the resolution to be approved or rejected:
“ | BE IT RESOLVED by the School Board of the Rubicon Joint #6 School District, Town of Rubicon and Hartford, City of Hartford, Dodge and Washington Counties, Wisconsin, that the revenues included in the School District budget be authorized to exceed the revenue limit specified in Section 121.91, Wisconsin Statutes, by $375,000 for the 2013-2014 school year, $450,000 for the 2014-2015 school year, $450,000 for the 2015-2016 school year, and $450,000 for the 2016-2017 school year for non-recurring purposes consisting of ongoing educational and facilities expenses.[1][2] | ” |
