A Washington County Library Levy Renewal measure was on the November 2, 2010 ballot in Washington County.
This measure was approved
- YES 118,477 (65.92%)
- NO 61,260 (34.08%)[1]
This measure sought to renew the current library levy of $.17 per $1,000 of assessed property for a further five years. The current levy will expire June of 2011, so since this was approved this levy will continue from that date.[2] The county also hosted service fairs to educate residents about the ballot issues on the November ballot and hoped that with education about the issue more residents would pass it.[3]
