Article VI of the Nebraska Constitution consists of six sections.

Section 1

Text of Section 1: Qualifications of Electors Every citizen of the United States who has attained the age of eighteen years on or before the first Tuesday after the first Monday in November and has resided within the state and the county and voting precinct for the terms provided by law shall, except as provided in section 2 of this article, be an elector for the calendar year in which such citizen has attained the age of eighteen years and for all succeeding calendar years.

Section 2

	Text of Section 2: Who Disqualified No person shall be qualified to vote who is non compos mentis, or who has been convicted of treason or felony under the laws of the state or of the United States, unless restored to civil rights.

Section 3

	Text of Section 3: Military or Naval Service; Place and Manner of Voting Every elector in the military or naval service of the United States or of this state may exercise the right of suffrage at such place and under such regulations as may be provided by law.

Section 4

	Text of Section 4: Repealed Repealed.

Section 5

	Text of Section 5: Electors; Privileged from Arrest Electors shall in all cases, except treason, felony, or breach of the peace, be privileged from arrest during their attendance at elections, and going to and returning from the same.

Section 6

	Text of Section 6: Votes, How Cast All votes shall be by ballot or by other means authorized by the Legislature whereby the vote and the secrecy of the elector's vote will be preserved.
