Maine State Retirement System Funds, Question 9 (1991)

The Maine State Retirement System Funds Referendum, also known as Question 9, was on the November 5, 1991 ballot in Maine as a legislatively referred bond question, where it was approved.[1] The measure prohibited the diversion or deappropriation of funds appropriated by the legislature for the Maine State Retirement System. This amended Section 18 of Article IX of the Maine Constitution.[2][3]
