The Maine State Retirement System Funds Referendum, also known as Question 9, was on the November 5, 1991 ballot in Maine as a legislatively referred bond question, where it was approved. The measure prohibited the diversion or deappropriation of funds appropriated by the legislature for the Maine State Retirement System. This amended Section 18 of Article IX of the Maine Constitution.
